PANAJI: North Goa MP Shripad Naik today said that if given a chance yet again, he will break the vote record for BJP.
“If the party gives me another chance, I will surely contest and see that BJP will break the vote margin record this time,” said Naik.
He further said that BJP will win both the Lok Sabha seats in Goa.
“I want to thank the people of North Goa for keeping the trust in me for the last many years.
It’s been 25 years that people of North Goa have supported me,” he added.
Naik said that following the restoration of the MP local area development fund (MPLAD) scheme, which was temporarily stopped in view of the pandemic crisis, funds were being released.
“In the next two years, many projects in North Goa to the tune of Rs12 crore will be completed, he said. The completion of 1,000-plus projects in North Goa over the past 23 year has given major impetus to rural development”, he said.
Naik said that the community hall has been constructed at a cost of Rs 42 lakh under the MPLAD scheme.
