PANAJI: The Meteorological Department has forecasted that Goa’s weather will stay partly cloudy from May 6 to May 8. However, between May 9 and May 12, intermittent rainfall is anticipated.
Today and tomorrow are also likely to be hot and muggy days, with the highest temperature hovering around 33 to 35 degrees Celsius over the course of the following seven days.
The state’s maximum temperature is not expected to change significantly over the next five days. Margao recorded a minimum temperature of 27.4 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 33.6 degrees Celsius on Monday, while Panaji recorded a maximum temperature of 33.5 degrees Celsius.
Today, the relative humidity was 84 percent in Margao and 77 percent in Panaji. According to the department, relative humidity will most likely be between 80 and 90 percent for the next seven days and won’t likely change significantly.
It is anticipated that during these seven days, the perceived temperature, or heat index, will not rise above 40 degrees Celsius.
