MOPA: An IndiGo flight from Goa to Delhi returned to Manohar International Airport on Tuesday after the crew detected a technical issue involving an engine soon after departure.
The flight, operating as 6E 2102, had taken off from Mopa but was later required to turn back to Goa. The crew followed the prescribed safety procedures and brought the aircraft back for a precautionary landing.
The aircraft landed safely and was subsequently taken out of service for detailed technical inspection. The airline said the aircraft would be cleared for operations only after the required maintenance checks are completed.
Passengers affected by the disruption were provided assistance, with the airline making alternative arrangements to help them continue their journey.
There were no reports of injuries in connection with the incident.
