MARGAO: Police being at the forefront of the fight against Covid, several police staff have ended up being infected with Covid-19 in recent times.
In order to take stock of the wellbeing of affected staff and to address any issues they face, a special session was conducted via video conferencing and was attended by all Covid positive police staff of all South Goa District Police Stations.
SP South addressed the attendees and interacted with each one of them, providing guidance & motivation, while addressing their concerns.
We care about our staff and are prepared to take every possible action for their care and treatment. All PIs interact with the staff on a daily basis.
A follow-up session has also been scheduled along with notable doctors in order to guide police staff to avoid future Covid infections.
