PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant today said that Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) facility has now been activated across Goa due to disruption caused due to Cylone Tauktae by which people can switch over to any network which is available in your area through the manual settings of your device.
“People in Goa have been facing mobile network issues due to disruption caused by Tauktae cyclone. Intra-Circle Roaming (ICR) facility has now been activated across Goa.,” said CM Sawant
He further said that people switch over to any network which is available in your area through the manual settings of your device.
Reliance Jio Infocomm (Jio), Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea (Vi) have set up war rooms with special teams to monitor the impact of cyclone Tauktae that has hit Kerala, Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra.
The telcos and their infrastructure partners have stocked up on digital generators and spare parts to ensure digital connectivity is not disrupted.
“We are working closely with other network providers (for intra circle roaming), partners and Government agencies to ensure stable telecom connectivity during the cyclone to let people stay connected with their loved ones,” said Telcos
