    IPSCDL has undertaken 2 projects to address localized flooding: Rane

    PORVORIM: Minister for Urban Development Vishwajit Rane informed the house that Imagines Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) is implementing 2 projects under Smart Cities Mission to address localized flooding.
    “Currently, IPSCDL is implementing 2 projects under Smart Cities Mission to address localized flooding, namely, “Flood Mitigation Measures and construction of Flood Water Pumping Station at Mala, Panaji” and: Rejuvenation of St.cruz Nallah- Development & Improvement to Hydrodynamics, water Quality & Stabilization of Banks” for which Water Resources Department (WRD) is the executing agency,” said Rane.
    He further said that both the projects are under execution with 50% physical progress achieved as of date.
    “Total grants received from State Government is Rs. 190.80 Crores out of which Rs.150.73 Crores have been utilized. Total grants received from the Central Government is Rs. 196.00 Crores out of which Rs. 194.96 Crores has been utilized,” he added.
