MARGAO: In a shocking incident, a boy from Dodamarg stabbed a girl from Bicholim outside the South Goa district hospital outside the compound.
The boy also tried to kill himself.
After hearing the noise, the IRB constable attached to Fatorda police station, on duty at the district hospital, ran towards them and kicked on the boy hand, who was again was going to stab the girl.
Both were admitted to the hospital. This incident took place between 10:15 am to 10:30 am.
The team of Fatorda police under PI Kapil Nayak rushed to the spot and started the preliminary inquiry and also called the Forensic team to conduct panchnama later police.
Hospital sources said that both have injuries on the neck and are doing well.
It was learnt that both were in a relationship. The boy worked in a courier company, and the girl worked at South Goa District Hospital.
