MARGAO: The Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), Shri Santosh Kumar Jha, conducted a series of counselling and interaction sessions with running staff including Loco Pilots, Assistant Loco Pilots and Train Managers including their families at Madgaon and Ratnagiri.
These sessions acknowledged the exemplary work of Konkan Railway’s staff and underscored the essential support provided by their families, enabling them to uphold focused and safety-oriented duties.
During these sessions, the employees were sensitized and counselled on the critical issue of preventing Signal Passed at Danger (SPAD) incidents. Emphasis was placed on adhering to stringent safety protocols to ensure passenger safety, effective communication with passengers, and maintaining mental well-being. These sessions were attended by 500 employees.
Konkan Railway will continue to conduct similar training sessions in other regions, aimed at further educating employees on enhancing safety practices. The organisation remains dedicated to maintaining and enhancing public safety and security standards.
