CALANGUTE: Calangute MLA Michael Lobo said has blamed ‘Some’ BJP leaders for failing to get maximum lead to the party in Lok Sabha Polls.
“Some BJP leaders failed to get maximum lead to party for the Lok Sabha polls; some senior leaders, who claim themselves tall leaders, were not connected to people and hence we failed to get to these voters,” said Lobo.
He further said that he has informed the party that there are too many leaders in each constituency and there will be confusion.
“Some BJP leaders do not respect people, we are in this position because of them,” he added.
Lobo said that even Delilah Lobo has managed to secure a little over 2,000 votes for BJP in Siolim.
Michael Lobo failed to give a lead to the BJP in Calangute. BJP candidate Shripad Naik secured 7,482 votes while Ramakant Khalap of the INDIA Alliance got a 2,157 lead, summing up to 9639 votes,” Lobo says.
Lobo also Congratulations to Shripad Naik on his decisive win in the Lok Sabha elections.
“Your tireless efforts and dedication to the people have earned you this resounding success. As you begin this new chapter, I offer my full support for your endeavors to propel Goa’s growth and development,” said Lobo.
