Merces-St Cruz service road on
NH66 to be closed for 30 days

PANAJI: Executive Engineer of Division-VII (NH) PWD, Panaji, Administrator of NH-66 between Patradevi to Agassaim has ordered the closure of the Main carriageway on Left Hand Side between Merces Junction to Niyaz Vehicular Under Pass on the National Highway-66, for all types of vehicular traffic at ch. 518/800 and ch. 579/650 for a period of one month from April 4, 2024, to May 31, 2024.
Traffic will be diverted on the Main Carriageway on the Right Hand Side in the lane in proximity to the median.
The work of Dismantling a pipe culvert and construction a box culvert at Merces is in progress, for which there is a need to close the Main carriageway on Left Hand Side between Merces Junction to Old Niyaz (near Masjid) Vehicular Under Pass on the National Highway from April 4, 2024, to May 31, 2024, for all types of vehicular traffic. This is to facilitate hindrance-free and speedy completion of the said work.
