MAPUSA: In a heartwarming incident on Friday, the Tourist Police Unit at Arambol Beach in Goa successfully reunited a 4-year-old boy with his anxious parents.
The drama unfolded around 5:45 PM when the young boy, visibly distressed, was found crying near the lifeguard tower, having lost his way from his family.
Acting swiftly, Police Head Constable Mahesh Naik and Anish Shetgaonkar from the Tourist Police Unit sprang into action.
They conducted a thorough search and made diligent efforts to locate the boy’s parents. After verifying the identities, they were able to reunite the minor boy with his relieved mother, Rajani Yemul, who is from Pune, Maharashtra.
The prompt and efficient response of the Tourist Police Unit ensured a joyful reunion, bringing immense relief to the family. This incident highlights the dedication and vigilance of the tourist police in ensuring the safety and well-being of visitors to the popular beach destination.
