Margao- Model Margao panel, supported by Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat, says it will work with Unity, Availability, Accessibility, Honesty and Transparency in the full five year term.
“We will not keep a single stone unturned to make Margao an Ultra-Modern City. Our vision is strongly supported by the long serving Margao MLA Digambar Kamat. With his guidance and advice we will fulfill all our commitments,” stated Eleven Candidates of Model Margao Panel in a joint press note issued here today.
Model Margao appealed to the Citizens of Margao to extend their complete support to all of us and we promise you that we will deliver our best.
“We request the Citizens of Margao to come out in large numbers and vote for the Candidates of Model Margao Panel. We humbly request the voters to follow Covid guidelines, wear masks and maintain social distancing when you come out to exercise your democratic right on Friday 23rd April 2021 between 8 am to 5 pm,” it said.
Further, the panel states, It is not possible to carry out developmental works in the Municipal Area without the support and guidance of the local MLA.
“Fortunately we all are blessed by our most accessible MLA Digambar Kamat. We are confident that his Government which will surely come to power in 2022 will provide full assistance to Margao Municipal Council,” it says.
The Citizens of Margao have seen the overall development taken place under the able leadership of Patron of Model Margao and our MLA Digambar Kamat. The South Goa Collectorate Complex, South Goa District Hospital, Water Reservoir at Gogal, Water Tanks at Monte Hill, Underground Cabling, Underground Sewerage and various other projects were initiated by our MLA Digambar Kamat, Model Margao states.
It adds, The beautification of Roads from Konkan Railway Station to Davorlim Junction and Rawanfond Junction to Raviraj Hotel will give a new look to the Margao City. The proposed six lane Railway Overbridge at Rawanfond will help in resolving the traffic congestion on the eastern bypass road.
“We have a vision to make Margao City a Tourist-Sportspersons-Artists friendly GAO City. We will make Margao comfortable and accessible for Persons with Disabilities. We are committed to resolve the Garbage Management issue. We will ensure that Margao is loved by one and all,” it says.
“The Citizens Facilitation Center at Aquem and Shirvodem will be the turning point in overall development of Margao. Our endeavor to get ISO Certification for Margao Municipal Council will bring in accountability and responsibility,” the panel reiterates.
Also it says, “We will provide best Health Care Facilities to the Citizens under our slogan “Healthy Madganvkar-Wealthy Madganvkar”. Our monthly dialogues in every ward under “Prashna Tumche, Jaap Amchi” will ensure that the peoples concerns and issues are resolved on priority. We once again request the Citizens of Margao to give us an opportunity to serve you with dedication and commitment”.
