PANAJI: Goa today reported 3869 new COVID-19 positive cases. While there 2023 recoveries, 58 deaths and 192 hospital discharges reported today.
As per DHS health bulletin, mortality count of Goa crossed the 1,500 mark and stands at 1501. Of the 58 deaths 5 were brought dead while 19 died within 24-hours of hospital admission. 35 were recorded at GMC, 18 at SGDH, 2 at NGDH, 1 death at PHC Dharbandora, 1 death at ESI hospital and 1 at PHC Cansaulim.
Meanwhile, the active cases stand at 29,752, the total death toll as of today is 1501, the samples tested in last 24 hours is 7518. While the recovery rate is 71.03%.
