NCP Chief Jose Philip D’Souza has on Thursday, announced his support for and participation in the Goa Forward Party’s Janata Darbar scheduled to take place in Vasco on Friday.
D’Souza praised Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai for his exceptional efforts in addressing the grievances of people beyond his constituency.
“Vijai Sardesai is doing a fantastic job by listening to the concerns of people from various areas. His commitment to the community is commendable, and I am eager to support this initiative.”said D’Souza
D’Souza emphasized that he would use this platform to highlight pressing local issues, particularly the condition of the Kharewado fishing jetty.
“The Kharewado fishing jetty is in a dilapidated state and requires immediate attention. I will raise this issue at the Janata Darbar to ensure it gets the necessary focus and action,” he stated.
” This initiative underscores the collaborative efforts of political parties in addressing community issues and improving the quality of life for residents in Vasco and surrounding areas. This event marks a significant step towards fostering a participatory governance model, where leaders actively engage with and respond to the needs of their constituents.” Said D’Souza
