PANAJI: The Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) has announced that vehicles carrying fish to the fish market are not to be allowed to park in the designated pay parking lots.
The CCP said that there is spillage of water from those vehicles which results in unhygienic conditions and foul smell, states the order.
Also, CCP said that Pay Parking has been notified for two-wheelers and four-wheelers within the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP) by the District Magistrate, North Goa.
Attendants collecting fares have been asked to mandatorily carry a certified copy of the rate chart notified for showing to the citizens as and when demanded.
Parking fees once charged are to be considered valid for any other parking location within the CCP jurisdiction for that time slot for that vehicle.
Parking spaces will be reserved for 2 and 4-wheelers for the vehicles of Persons with Disabilities and no parking fee will be charged from them.
All Government vehicles are also exempted from paying parking fees.
