SAVANUR: Notorious Criminal and Gangster Anwar Sheikh aka Tiger was murdered at Savanur in Karnataka. Tiger was murdered using an axe.
Police have arrested Imran Chowdhury over charges of murdering Sheikh.
“The murder happened over hafta vasuli issue. We are investigating matter,” said Savanur Police.
Imran Chowdhury has been already convicted in history sheeter Barbara’s murder.
Police says that there was old rivalry between Imran Chaudhary and Anwar Shaikh.
Police said Imran Chaudhary is in their custody and the police are conducting an intensive investigation.
In February Anwar was shot at and assaulted by a group of several persons at near the Ambaji junction, Fatorda.
Following the assault, Shaikh lay on the road severely injured before he was shifted to the Hospicio hospital, Margao, from where he was referred to Goa Medical College (GMC).
After recovery he had promised to a crime-free life. He has also complained about threat to his life.
