CANACONA: In a midnight fatal accident, One dies and two other youths seriously injured in a motorbike self accident at Gaondongrim in Canacona
According to Canacona police, 20 years old Pundalik Kakade, resident of Moital, Shrishthal, residing at New-Vaddo, Bhatpal in Canacona, a native of Hubali (Karnataka) died on the spot after a NL Pulsar bearing registration no.GA-10-D-5202 was hit to an roadside tree at Karvem Gaondongrim.
Two other pillion riders Rohit Naik s/o Rupesh Naik, age 19 years r/o Ponsulem Canacona Goa and Ganesh Dodamani s/o Shankar Dodamani, age 26 years r/o Shristhal, Moital, Canacona Goa were seriously injured and are recovering in a hospital.
Police informed the self accident took place at about 01.00hrs of Sunday-Monday night, while the three were returning back on a single motorbike after dropping their companion and his motorbike at Gaondongrim.
Canacona police informed that the deceased Pundalik Kakade was the rider, while Injured Rohit Naik was sitting in the middle and Ganesh Dodamani was sitting at the back.
According to sources, the trio were returning back after dropping one of their friends and his motorbike to Gaondongrim. All the four reportedly travelled on two motorbikes to drop one of their friends was feeling not convenient to ride alone back home at the odd hours, and after dropping their friend and his bike, the trio were returning back on one motorbike, when a slight turn the rider lost control of his motorbike and hit head-on to a roadside tree. The rider reportedly hit his head to the tree and reportedly collapsed and died on the spot.
According Canacona PI Chandrakant Gawas, the Body is handed over to relatives after Post Mortem examination.- END
