MARGAO: Congress leader Micky Pacheco on Tuesday alleged that BJP wants new political parties like Trinamool Congress and others to bring down the vote share of the Congress party.
“People of Goa should act wisely and should not fall prey to the false promises which new parties are making,” he said during a press conference in Margao.
Pacheco questioned the authenticity and the practicability of the various schemes like Griha Laxmi and Youth scheme recently launched by Trinamool Congress.
Pacheco asked whether these schemes could be implemented in reality?
He also pointed out that many new political parties are promising freebies and various schemes on a condition that if they come to power only then these promises will be fulfilled.
“Currently, these parties are surveying people’s data of the people from all constituencies”, Pacheco claimed.
Pacheco further questioned where these political parties were during the first Covid 19 waves and why suddenly, as the elections are approaching, these political parties are coming to Goa and promising big things to people.
He claimed that the new political parties are acting like a B team of BJP and will try to spilt the votes of the Congress party.
Pacheco urged Goans to wisely think and not fall prey to the hollow promises made by few new entrants and support the Congress party for better governance.
