CANACONA: BJP’s South Goa candidate Pallavi Dempo made her maiden campaigning visit to Canacona on Wednesday and attended and addressed three meetings with the karyakartas.
Dempo accompanied by BJP State president and Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Tanavade and in the presence of Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar first directly drove to Shree Mallikarjun Temple, Shristhal and took blessings of the Lord Mallikarjun deity.
While Smt Dempo didn’t respond to media queries, Tawadkar and Tanavde however, informed media outside the temple premises BJP candidate Pallavi Dempo’s visit to the constituency is purely to interact with the karyakartas and party functionaries.
BJP party ticket aspirants Narendra Savaikar and Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar also joined Dempo at her first meeting in Shristhal panchayat hall.
Mrs Dempo however, addressed BJP Karyakarta of Agonda, Shristhal and Canacona Municipality at Shristhal Panchayat Hall, where half of her less than 3 minutes address is made to make references to the leaders present in welcoming and greeting (Ieukar ani sogleank Namaskar), while in the other half made references to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Schemes and PM’s concern for the Women of the country.
‘Today we see how much Modiji toils so hard, and with his dedication very much helps people. He helps immensely, with his schemes and all the functions he has started like Lok Kalyan Yojna, and Ayushman Bharat Yojna to help people He also took lots of pain to make women strong and safe. As you have seen, he had made 33% reservations for women in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, which is a very good move,” she said.
She continued, every one of you knows that he always keeps on working for the betterment of women.
“We, women are a multi-task force, and only women can take care of all the things in a better way. On the day of voting, I have full confidence that everybody will vote for me. That much guarantee I have and for that I thank you,” Pallavi said.
BJP State President and RS MP Sadanand Tanawade told the Karyakarta ‘There are no scams from 2014 by PM Modi or any BJP man also, unlike previous congress terms. Our country will be the 3rd largest Economy in the World after this 2024 election and by 2047 our country will top the world Economy.”
Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar informed us that Canaconcars are ready and irrespective of the candidate we had assured BJP a lead of over 10,000 votes in the Canacona constituency.
“We are going to meet 900-1000 karyakartas today in the 3 karyakarta meetings, and we have complete faith in BJP leadership and Narendra Modi as our country is safe in his hands to make a Vikshit Bharat by 2047. No vote bank politics will succeed in Canacona and no one can dare to disturb or divide Canacona BJP. We are taking the responsibility of improving the lives of 1000 karyakartas in Canacona in the next 5 years,” he said.
NRI commissioner Narendra Savoikar, and BJP Vice-president Chandrakant Kavlekar, (both ticket claimants for the South Goa Lok Sabha seat spoke and appealed to karyakartas to work for the success of Dempo.
Shristhal Sarpnch Sejal Gaonkar, CMC Chairperson- Ramakant Naikgaunkar, BJP General Secretary Sarvanand Bhagat spoke while Mahesh Naik, Agonda Sarpanch Preettal Fernandes,
ZP (Khola) Shanu Velip, and South Zilla Panchayat Chairperson Suvarna Tendulkar were present amongst others.
Dempo during her interaction with Karyakarta’s at Khotigao, mingled with ST women children, and later visited Shree Parashuram Devasthan Poinguinim to offer prayers, and with another meeting with Karyakartas of Loliem had a concluding meeting at Shree Sansthan Nirakar Hall, Mashem later in the evening.-
