PORVORIM: Porvorim police have arrested one accused person in connection with a molestation case happened in February.
As per PI Porvorim Rahul Parab a complaint was lodged by the victim lady in February 2024 informing that she was physically molested while she was walking on public road.
Porvorim police had accessed almost 50 CCTV footages in this regards and were continuously trying to trace the accused person.
The accused person had also stopped using his scooter which he had used for commission of offence.
Finally on 17/08/2024 Porvorim police have arrested the accused person through meticulous investigation and analysis of CCTV cameras. The accused person is identified as Reevan Miranda, age 21 yrs R/o Socoor, Bardez Goa.
Accused is presently arrested under section 354 IPC. Police have obtained 5 days remand of accused.
