PORVORIM: Porvorim Rising will felicitate students from the Porvorim constituency who have excelled in the Class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by the Goa Board in March-April 2025. The felicitation ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 21, at 4:00 pm at the Succoro Panchayat Hall.
Goa’s Minister for Tourism, Information Technology, and Electronics & Communication, Shri Rohan Ashok Khaunte, will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Deputy Director of Education, Shri Manoj Sawaikar, will address the students as the chief speaker.
The initiative, an annual effort by Porvorim Rising, aims to honour academic excellence and inspire other students in the community. Students who have scored over 75% in the SSC and HSSC exams from the panchayats of Succoro, Salvador do Mundo, and Penha de Franca are eligible for the felicitation.
Porvorim Rising Trust, known for its sustained efforts toward community development, has been organizing this event to motivate students to pursue higher goals and recognize their academic achievements.
The trust has urged students, parents, and educators to attend the program in large numbers and be part of this celebration of educational success.
