PONDA: Even as the elections are three months away, the poster war of politicians can be witnessed in Ponda with politicians from various parties wising their voters at several prime spots in the City.
Senior politicians and Ponda MLA Ravi Naik too displayed photos giving Diwali greetings to people, and not surprisingly, his poster does not have any party symbols.
His Son Ritesh Naik, who joined BJP, has the party symbol of lotus and senior BJP leaders on his poster displayed at various places.
BJP Ponda block Vishwanath Dalvi also displayed his photo with a party symbol.
Congress Party worker Rajesh Verenkar also displayed his photos with party symbols.
MGP Leader Dr Ketan Bhatijar also displayed his photo wishing Diwali greetings and a photo of his party leader Sudin Dhavlikar.
All these Politicians are expected to contest elections from the Ponda constituency.
