He further said that all process on recruitment will be kept on hold until the inquiry is completed.
BJP Panaji MLA Atanasio Monserratte, who had alleged job scam in PWD and health department, said that the recruitment process in PWD is kept on hold pending inquiry.
Monserratte was the first to raise his voice following media reports. He had alleged that bribe of Rs 20 lakhs to 35 lakhs is taken to give jobs.
The MLA informed that the CM has initiated vigilance inquiry into the recruitments done by PWD.
He said that CM has assured to look into all the irregularities and if required fresh process to be undertaken.
“Justice should be done to deserving candidates,” he said.
After BJP MLA Atanasio Monserrate accused Goa’s PWD minister of ‘selling’ jobs in his department ‘to the highest bidder’, the minister Deepak Pauskar said that his allegations were baseless and he had no role to play in the selection of candidates for jobs of junior engineers and technical assistant engineers in the PWD.
