PANAJI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s scheduled visit to Goa on October 12, 2026, for the Gõy Rakhonn Yatra has been postponed in view of the ongoing INDIA bloc protests against alleged ‘Vote Chori’ involving the RSS-BJP-ECI nexus.
In an announcement, Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Girish Chodankar said the protests raise serious questions about electoral transparency, accountability and the integrity of the democratic process.
He said these issues are of significant national importance and require immediate attention and priority at the national level.
“In light of these important developments, the scheduled Goa visit has been deferred,” Chodankar stated.
The revised date of Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Goa will be announced shortly, he added.
