VASCO: Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho distributed cheques from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to 26 beneficiaries on Thursday. Each recipient received financial assistance amounting to ₹15,000. Minister Godinho emphasized the government’s commitment to providing timely support to those facing financial hardships.
“The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund is dedicated to assisting individuals in times of need, and today’s distribution is a testament to our continued efforts in this direction. There was a cyclone that had damaged several houses and caused them losses. We had assured the people that we will provide some relief through the CM Relief fund and we had even distributed the cheques to them. However, there were around 26 people more that were remaining and we cleared their cheques as well through the CM Relief fund,” said Godinho.
