ALDONA: Aldona MLA ADV Carlos Ferreira today said that there is a need to address the grassroots issues in educational policies and practices.
“We’ve heard of legacies being wiped out, but one such legacy in the style of Hitler’s Nazi regime seems to be replicated across from the Centre and now to the State Government,” said Ferreira
He further said that the compulsions being laid on Educational Institutions to take part in CM’s address else action will be taken seems like a very draconian approach to any institution.
“Instead of having a dialogue, the administration looks to have a monologue. Instead of making the lives of students easier, addressing issues relating implementation of NEP and other such things the Government is apparently adding hurdles to the lives of innocent students,” MLA added
We must look to enrich the lives of the young students with better standards of education and better practices to further their learning and future careers.
MLA said that instead of sitting in high chairs and dictating we need to address the grassroots issues in educational policies and practices.
“The people need to introspect into these issues;
Do we allow our children’s future to be at stake?” he added
