MOIRA: In a shocking road rage case at Moira, Mapusa Police has registered an FIR against Purushottam Dinanath Verlekar r/o Moira, Bardez for assaulting Valrey Milagres Dias resulting in bodily injuries.
As per the information, a case has been registered at Mapusa Police Station under Cr. No. 103/2024, U/Sec 118 (1) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023, based on a complaint filed by Simon Milagres Dias, aged 55, a self-employed resident of Calizor, Moira, Bardez, Goa.
According to the complaint, on July 3, 2024, at 4:30 PM near the Village Panchayat building in Moira, Bardez, Goa, Purushottam Dinanath Verlekar, a resident of Atafondem, Moira, Bardez, Goa, who was riding a scooter, assaulted the complainant’s son, Valrey Milagres Dias, also a scooter rider, resulting in bodily injuries to Valrey Milagres Dias.
