CUNCOLIM: At a time when the state is celebrating the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, robbers decamped with donation boxes and other valuables from three temples around Cuncolim area yesterday night.
Out of the seven temples, robbers managed to break into three temples at Talwada, Veroda & Cuncolim, one temple’s fund box missing, other temple’s fund box emptied & thrown out.
According to the police they had also attempted to burgle four more temples in the area.
