Goa registered the second highest single day spike with 196 cases on Friday while also witnessing another COVID death taking the toll to 21. 129 patients also recovered on Friday
As per the Health bulletin, there are 3304 confirmed cases with 1946 recoveries. As on date the active cases are now 1337.
The bulletin further says that one unknown person from Margao was brought dead COVID hospital, Margao who was covid postive, was revealed after postmortem.
Out of the 5627 samples tested, 2146 are negative, 196 are positive – 3285 reports awaited.
At present the patients in isolation wards are 26 and 173 people are in institutional or facility quarantine.
