PONDA: From Shiroda Panchayat, the brother and two brothers-in-law of Minister Subash Shirodkar are elected.
This includes his brother Megnath Shirodkar from Ward 8 and his wife Mugdha Shirodkar, Elected from ward 9. Further, Bharati Amit Shirodkar, elected from ward 10, is a brother-in-law of Megnath Shirodkar and Minister Subash Shirodkar.
At Curti, Khandepar Naved Tahsildar from ward 8 and his wife Parveen Tahsildar from ward 6 are elected.
From Volvoi Panchayat Vinayak Vengurlekar, ward 3 and his wife Anjali Vengurlekar, ward 4, are elected.
From Querim Panchayat Tulshidas Naik from Ward 6 and his Wife, Trupthi Naik from Ward 5, were elected.
Former Kavlem ZP Chitra Fadte was Elected as Panchmember from Ward 6 of Bandora Panchayat.
Similary, there were two narrow victories. At Wadi Talavalim in Ward 6, Manuja Naik (84) defeated former Panch Bharati Naik (82) by two votes.
