Now, we Goans demand the government makes papers public which prove the land is owned by the Zuari Agro.
Secondly, even if the courts have given the ownership of land to Zuari, why has the government not yet appealed to the higher courts or the Supreme Courts.
The minister’s statement certainly seems suspicious. There seems to be something more than what is meeting the naked eye.
If the land ownership is with Zuari, why is the State not informing the PMO, which had sought a reply?
The State authorities are dragging their feet on the Prime Minister’s office’s directions to inquire into the allegations of a scam in the Zuari sale, the biggest land scam in Goa.
After a letter from a social activist on October 17, 2020,
the PMO office, on 17/11/2020, had asked Goa Chief Secretary to look into the matter and reply to the petitioner and the PMO office.

What an irony, the government headed by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has let go of 50 lakh square meters of prime land for free.
Yes, you heard it right; Revenue Minister Babush Monseratte, on Wednesday, in a casual manner, told reporters that the government could not do much in teh Zuari sale matter as the company has got the ownership of land through different courts.
Monseratte said that this was told when they sought legal opinion.
Now, we Goans demand the government makes papers public which prove the land is owned by the Zuari Agro.
