Old Goa, June 20:A 35-year-old man, Pankaj Gauns from St Cruz, was found dead in a pond near agricultural fields on Thursday. Preliminary information suggests he may have drowned while attempting to retrieve fishing nets.
The Old Goa police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of death. Further details are awaited pending post-mortem and inquiry.
