MAPUSA: In a bid to promote lifelong learning and engagement among senior citizens, the Library of St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, has announced special access hours exclusively for elderly patrons. Starting from March 2025, the library will remain open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Senior citizens can make use of the library’s extensive collection, including newspapers, periodicals, books, and bound volumes. The initiative aims to encourage intellectual stimulation and social interaction among elderly members of the community.
