The Government has declared the names of teachers selected for State Awards, 2019-20. In the Primary Teacher Category – Shri Avinash Parkhe, Special Educator from Disha School for Special Children, Panaji (North Goa) and Ms. Amita Shama S.N. Dessai, Government Primary Teacher from Government High School, Agonda, Canacona (South Goa) have been selected for the State Awards.
In the Secondary Teacher Category – Shri Gopal D. Sawant, Assistant Teacher from Government High School, Menkurem Bicholim (North Goa) and Nanda V. Majik, Assistant Teacher from Government High School Nagargao Valpoi have been selected for the State Awards. Shrikrishna G. Vaze, Art Teacher from S.K.K. High School, Keri, Ponda (South Goa) has also been selected for the State Awards under the Secondary Teachers Category.
In the High School Headmaster Category – Sr. Monica Coelho, S.F.N. Special School, Headmistress from St. Xavier Akademy, Kadamba Road, Old Goa (North Goa) and Maria Murenda Miranda, Headmistress at Government High School Morpirala, Quepem (South Goa) have been selected for the State Awards.
In the Higher Secondary Teacher Category – Vithoba U. Bagli, Teacher Grade-I from Shree Kamleshwar Higher Secondary School, Korgao, Pernem has been selected for the State Awards.
