PONDA: Even as the Curti Highway is in dark due to non functioning street lights today the Three Buffalows were seriously injured on Curti Khandepar Highway at Copperwada Curti after Container truck dashed a herd of buffalos standing on Highway.
Locals said street lights are not operating since past many days.
The incident take place today late night. The container truck was proceeding from Usgao towards Ponda. Luckily one buffaloes calf was escaped unhurt while the many buffaloes fled the scene.
The buffaloes recieved injuries on legs, back and also received fractures and also horns were broken. They were shifted to Sequeri Goshala for treatment
