MAPUSA: One Regina Naronha R/o Segundo wado, Corjuem, Aldona, has been accused of setting on fire two vehicles and two bicycles at Corjuem in the wee hours this morning.
As per Mapusa, police one Mrs Blossom Geeta Rosario W/o Sanjay W. Rosario, aged 45 years from Segundo wado, Khorjuvem, Aldona, Bardez, Goa filed a complaint that Mrs Rosy @ Regina Naronha R/o Segundo wado, Khorjuvem, Aldona, Bardez, Goa set fire to her vehicles at 3.45 am.
On the date, time, and place mentioned above, the accused lady committed mischief by setting a blaze on Honda Activa Scooter bearing registration No. MH-47-V-2887, Maruti Alto Car bearing registration No. MH-02-AQ-9112 and two bicycles belonging to the complainant, which were parked inside the garage by the complainant near the residence, thereby damaging the vehicles, bicycles and garage belonging to the complainant, causing her loss of Rs. 15,00,000/- approx, police said.
Hence offence U/sec 436 IPC stands Registered.
Prepared FIR copies and submitted them to JMFC, Mapusa and Superior officers; wireless message flashed to all concerned. The investigation is in progress.
