The Vibrant Margao panel, supported by BJP ex MLA Damu Naik, released the manifesto at the hands of ex chairperson of MMC Kamilini Paiginkar.
Damu Naik, Rajendra Talak, Bipin Kantak, Sudin Nayak, Rupesh Mahatme, Manohar Borkar and Sattyavijay Naik were also present.
The manifesto focussed on main 14 points which starts with cleaning of Sonsodo by 2022.
The highlights of the manifesto are : Implementation of organised dry and wet waste collection, multi-story car parking, bus stand by 2025, development of open spaces within Margao municipal area, Setup of Recreation facilities, Day Care Centers for senior citizens, Shelter house for 500 dogs by 2023, CCTVs in Market area by 2023, Maintenance and restoration of heritage site, Mechanised cleaning, Employment opportunity in various private sectors, Digitization of MMC for birth and Permissions like house repairs, trade licence and payment of various taxes on online portal will be developed by 2022, Setup of Citizen help desk in MMC, Councillor visit their ward and update the council regarding the pending work every week.
Rajendra Talak appealed to the people to vote for Vibrant Margao candidates to get change.
Meanwhile, Damu Naik slammed Vijai Sardessai without taking his name saying people should get smart and vote wisely .
“Last time the voters gave brute majority to Goa Forward and Model Margao panel but they totally failed to resolve the problems of Margao. Vijay Sardessai is a talking parrot and a good stage manager,” he said.
