Panaji: After remaining adamant on the decision to go ahead with IIT Goa project at Guleli for over six months now, the Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, who also happens to be Valpoi MLA seems to have decided to do a rethink on the situation.
Rane, has often been saying that the government will go ahead with IIT project as only a handful of people have been opposing the project.
With support pouring in from all quarters to the agitating Shel Melauli locals, Vishwajit now says he will speak to his people and the CM.
Vishwajit Rane took to twitter to announce this, ”I shall be assessing the ground situation with our people regarding IIT at Shel-Melauli and will discuss the matter with Hon’ble CM DrPramodPSawant
in this regard. @BJP4Goa @ShetSadanand @goacm”
Vishwajit was successful in wining all the five Zilla Parishad seats in the just concluded elections but ever since the voice for scrapping IIT project seems to be getting louder with every passing day.
