MARGAO: On day three of the tournament, which was the opening day of the age group categories in the boys (U11 and U13) section, the Ulhas Jewellers – BPS Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2024 continued to thrill with high-intensity action at the Multipurpose Stadium in Fatorda.
In the U11 Boys Quarters, top-seed Yug Prabhu dominated Ashank Dalvi with a 3-0 victory and advanced to the semis by defeating Ishaan Colaco 3-1. Kavish Dalvi also showcased his talent, winning against Kaushik Nair and Keder Nair to set up a final clash with Yug.
The U13 Boys Pre-Quarters saw standout performances as Chandan Caro, Ishan Colaco, Chinmay Bakhare, Kaushik Nair, Yug Prabhu, Ruhaan Shaikh, Vedant Wagle, and Dhruva Kamat surged ahead, each securing their spots in the quarterfinals with remarkable wins. The tournament continues to highlight the promising talent and competitive spirit of the young athletes. Following are thee results:
