PANAJI: Revenue Minister Atanasio Monserrate on Monday flagged off 11 newly purchased vehicles for the Office of the Collector, North Goa, aimed at strengthening mobility and improving the smooth functioning of the department.
Speaking on the occasion, Monserrate said the effective functioning of the Revenue Department was important for the delivery of government services. He said the newly procured vehicles would be utilised for day-to-day operations and field activities of the Collectorate.
The Minister congratulated the North Goa Collectorate and its staff on the addition of the vehicles and expressed confidence that the new fleet would enhance operational efficiency and help the department discharge its responsibilities more effectively.
Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Revenue, Sandip Jacques, IAS; North Goa Collector Ankit Yadav, IAS; Additional Collectors and Deputy Collectors of North Goa, along with other officers and staff of the North Goa Collectorate, were present on the occasion.
