VASCO: Vasco Police have registered a case of kidnapping following a complaint about the abduction of a 16-year-old girl from Mormugao.
According to the complaint lodged on 16 November 2024 at 6:04 PM, the incident occurred on 25 October 2024 at approximately 3:10 PM.
The complainant, whose identity has been withheld for privacy reasons, reported that their minor daughter was abducted by unknown individuals while under her lawful guardianship.
At the time of her disappearance, the girl was wearing a green kurta, a white dupatta, and grey jeans.
Vasco Police have filed an offence under Section 137(2) of the BNS Act.
The investigation is being led by LPSI Archana Gaonkar, under the supervision of PI Kapil Nayak, with guidance from Mormugao DySP Gurudas Kadam.
