CHINCHINIM: The Chinchinim Mando Committee has announced the 41st edition of the Chinchinim Mando Festival, scheduled to be held on Thursday, November 14, 2025, at 6 p.m. at the Our Lady of Hope Church Square, Chinchinim, Salcete.
A much-awaited annual celebration of Goa’s musical and cultural traditions, the festival will feature spirited performances by mando groups from across the State. In line with tradition, trophies and cash prizes will be presented to the winning groups, while all participants will receive transport allowances, mementos, and certificates in appreciation of their role in preserving the State’s rich heritage.
The organisers have informed that, due to space and time limitations, entries this year will be restricted and accepted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested groups have been urged to collect and submit their entry forms by November 5, 2025.
