COLVA: A 48-year-old man from Kerala was found unconscious inside his hotel room in Colva on Wednesday morning and was later declared brought dead at South Goa District Hospital (SGDH), Margao.
According to police, information was received from SGDH Margao at around 1.08 pm on September 16 regarding the death of Sudheer A, 48, a resident of Kerala.
During preliminary enquiry, police found that Sudheer had arrived in Goa on September 14 and was staying at a hotel in Colva. He was found lying unconscious inside his room on Wednesday morning.
He was subsequently shifted to SGDH Margao for medical treatment. However, the duty doctor declared him brought dead.
The body has been preserved at SGDH Margao for further medico-legal formalities.
Further enquiry is being conducted by PSI Prashant Bhagat of Colva Police Station.
