PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant addressed the inauguration ceremony of the two-day International Seminar on ‘Economic Scenario of the World as Expressed in Hindi Literature’ organized under the joint auspices of Hindi Department and Hindi Research Center of Arts, Science and Commerce Government College, Sankhali, Goa and Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa.
The conference was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Tomio Mijokami, Japan, Professor Umapati Dikshit, Head of the Department, Department of Education and Language Dissemination Central Institute of Hindi, (Ministry of Education, Government of India), Agra.
The seminar will focus on deliberations with respect to the ‘Economic Scenario of the World as Expressed in Hindi Literature’ that offers a rich and varied landscape for discussion and exploration.
In his address to the gathering, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant congratulated the students of Hindi language and Literature and their professors for motivating the young generation to take up the intensive study of our National Language.
He said, “In the Amrut Kaal, with efforts of the Central Government, Hindi Language is being accepted and spoken widely in all the states of India.”
“Hindi as the most preferred language of litterateurs has been making the most impact not just in the country, but globally as well,” he added. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant concluded his address expressing confidence that the Multilingual State of Goa will definitely contribute more to the Hindi Language Literature in the near future.
