PORVORIM: Demanding that the resolution on three linear projects should be brought for discussion in the Assembly yet again and reconsidered, AAP MLAs Venzy Viegas and Cruz Silva said that they will be attending the Assembly under protest.
Alleging that the projects are being bulldozed in the state by the govt despite strong opposition from the people, Viegas said, “We demand that the resolution that all the opposition members unitedly supported should be reconsidered.”
Private members’ resolution on scrapping the projects, moved by GFP’s Vijai Sardesai and Congress’s Altone D’Costa, was unitedly supported by the opposition members on Friday. However, the resolution was not passed in the Assembly.
