New Delhi: India successfully conducted a test launch of the Agni 4 medium range ballistic missile from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Odisha on August 6, marking another validation of the country’s strategic missile capabilities.
The test was carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command, which oversees India’s strategic weapons assets. The launch was conducted as part of efforts to assess the missile’s operational and technical performance.
According to the Defence Ministry, the test successfully validated all the required operational and technical parameters. The successful launch demonstrated the missile system’s readiness and performance during the exercise.
