Panaji – Electricity Department will replace all four thousand electric polls in the capital city, right from Ribander to Donapuala, CCP Mayor Uday Madkaikar told reporters today.
He was speaking after Panaji MLA Babush Monserrate had conveyed meeting of all the department in CCP hall regarding development work in the city.
CCP Mayor, Commissioner, Public Works Department Officials, WRD Officials, Electricity Department Officials, GSIDC Officials and Smart City Officials were present for the meeting.
“All the electric polls in Panaji city are very old so they need to be replaced. Out of 4 thousand polls around 350 to 400 polls have fallen,” Madkaikar said.
He said, besides this, hot mixing of roads, digging of roads, construction of second Mala bridge to be completed by 1st March.
Further, he added, Smart city development works etc were also discussed in the meeting.
