ANMOD: Vehicle traffic on the Anmod Ghat to and from Karnataka has been halted due to an accident that occurred last evening.
Around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, a container truck broke down on the Goa-Belagavi road, causing a serious traffic jam. For over 17 hours, the cars are immobile.
Long lines of cars are backed up on both sides of the road, despite the traffic police’s efforts to control the situation and try to get the cars out of the way.
On the other hand, due to the construction of a protective wall next to the road at the said turn, accidents often occur at this place as heavy vehicles are often unable to turn. Ramnagar police went to the spot and resolved the traffic jam to some extent by leaving the small vehicles.
