“If the party gives the ticket, and if the people want me to contest the 2024 elections, I will contest and it will be the last election. I will not contest any further after this but I will stay with the party even if not given a ticket,” he added
He said that people have supported and elected me as many as four times to the Lok Sabha from South Goa. This time, I am willing to contest the election for the last time if party gives me the ticket. I want your support and backing”, he said.
Sardinha also said that no construction of any kind should be allowed on the heritage site in Old Goa.
The government should send a letter to the panchayat asking it to withdraw the permission if it has given a license to someone.
“Apart from this, Sardin also said that many protested to demolish illegal constructions in Old Goa, and action should be taken against them,” he added.
The MP also said that Goa was under Portuguese control. Portugal has facilitated the issuance of passports to persons born before 1961 during the Portuguese era.
