Team Goemkarponn MARGAO: A 73-year-old woman from Navelim, South Goa, passed away at GMC Bambolim on Friday morning following a fall at her residence. Police said the deceased, Jaipali Chauhan, originally from Uttar Pradesh and residing at Mandopa, Navelim, sustained injuries after slipping in her bathroom. She was admitted to GMC Bambolim for treatment but succumbed while undergoing care. An inquest panchanama was conducted, and the body was sent for post-mortem. Team Goemkarponn PONDA: A case of kidnapping has been registered at Ponda Police Station after a woman from Karnataka, presently residing in Ponda, complained that her minor daughter was abducted in the early hours of Friday. Police said that around 3:00 am, unidentified person(s) allegedly kidnapped the girl from the lawful guardianship of her mother.
